Charles, MSFT is my largest single holding, within a well-diversified portfolio. It came about a few months before Win95 was issued when I decided that MSFT was something of a bargain.

At the time, I sold 5 puts and bought 5 calls at the then-current price. It cost me all of $800 but I lost a lot of sleep because of the risk involved. In the end, MSFT rose and I received $10K in cash plus what is now $30K+ in MSFT shares for my $800 net investment.

It's easy to have an opinion. Its tougher to accept those of others. IMHO, the second toughest thing anyone can do is to ACT on their own recommendations. The toughest thing on Earth is to listen to those who don't believe enough in their own words to take action.
