I went out to these sites and am wondering if the current systems have the capability to transmit data to the satellite at a sufficient rate to support internet access. They obviously transmit at sufficient speeds to sink up viewing on demand to manage charges.

I personally believe anyone could beat the cable comapnies to market with interactive capability. There is too much going against them like cost to implement the technology, monopolistic culture, poor customer attitudes, etc.
