Did anyone catch the CTV news last night , The air polution in Singapore is so bad the Doctors are warning people not to stay outside for more than 15 min. with out proper breathing masks the smoke is coming from the huge smoke stacks at the old coal burning hydro plants . Some brand new steam turbines are being shipped there from Vancouver,showed them loading the first one on the ship Seems like this is the first step in trying to clean up the air as too many people,are now in hospitals with lung problems . I figure next will be some kind of action taken on the many automobiles in that country ,similair to California new laws . sam
