Yes, you can sell for a loss, take the loss against any gains, and buy some ASND. Until CSCC becomes part of ASND, they are two different companies. Also, even if they were the same, you could buy back the stock you sold after 30 days (which, given the current market envirnonment, may be the thing to do). Also, there's selling against the box or something like that. I don't know how to do it, I just know you can and realize the loss without giving up the stock you own. CSCC/ASND at $28....hmmmm.
