Thanks for the input. I agree with LG that the smartest thing is to have cash available AFTER the correction rather than try to buy puts anticapating one. I was lucky to get a fraction of my money out about 2-3 weeks back which were on puts. Most of my money is on the sidelines as I would rather be safe going into Y2K than sorry. I would like to have a baby put position in case things are worse than most think. I would like to join your club because no matter how much I go long, I find myself awed by the valuations given much of the market and thus 'need' to go short <G>. Thanks again! Steve D.
