I like the sentiments, but the numbers are a little squishy.

From CHPS 10-Q filing Feb. 3, 1997:
The first calendar quarter has traditionally shown a slight downturn in sales, and the Company expects to see a corresponding 5% to 10% downturn in revenues in its third fiscal quarter.

So CHPS is forecasting a 5-10% downtourn in revenues, not earnings. A 10% drop in revenues can eat up ALL earnings for a quarter -- not just 10% of earnings.

Since February, CHPS has been telling anyone who would listen not to expect any surprises this quarter. Maybe next quarter. I'm not getting my hopes up for an upside gift. My prediction (jeez, this crystal ball is cold, dark and cloudy) is 15 cents. I hope I'm wrong.
