Concerning *trading discussions* on the thread it would seem to me if an investor was going to limit the number of companies they invest in learning more about the Options market would be helpful in certain situations:

"I would like to hear comments from others on how Options may help everyone with timimng and purchasing the shares at a good price. "

Here are some possible scenario's for thought:
#1.
You want to begin to establish a position in a few stocks but are unsure of whether certain events will take place sooner or later that may cause the stock to command a higher price.
#2.
You have researched and are convinced to buy a stock but are waiting for additional funds to be available to purchase the stock but by the time the funds are available the price of the stock has gotten higher.
#3.
A stock you have done a tremendous amount of research finnally takes off. How could I have leveraged this knowledge using Options and at the same time limited my risk of investing in this stock right before a market downturn.

I would appreciate trading discussions.
