On MSFT's case, I think it's the other way around, ie,
the court case is the only thing that has been holding
MSFT back. Were it not for this lawsuit, MSFT shares
would have been 50% higher at least at this moment.
So, any sign of early settlement should be very bullish
to this stock. Remember, there is nothing fundamentally
wrong with this company.

Yes, it is indeed "boring" in 1999. But dont forget
the power of a sleeping giant. The best example is QCOM.
