Hi Brian,
I see Champion Bear drilling today at 3/4 of a mile behind our village in Northern Ontario, 40 miles North of Sudbury. Spoke with a driller, they were running about 350 meters of rod at 45 degrees. I saw 1 1/2" core but nothing visual however the driller saw mineralization over about 1 1/2 feet yesterday. The drilling outfit was St. Lambert I think the name was. They or someone was doing quite a bit of staking in the immediate area. About 1/3 to 1/2 a mile away is a magnetite outcropping that was blasted and about 20,000 tons broken is exposed, however its just sitting there broken and nothing was ever done with it. If my memory serves me it was Sudbury Contact that had the claim. A principle at that time was named Rick ?.
FWIW
