I, personally, do not feel the Ignore feature should be used for any purpose other than what it states. An individual chooses not to hear posts or PM's from another individual.

I hope SI doesn't start letting people, even groups of people, stop someone from posting.

Sometimes an unpopular opinion turns out to be correct.
