Korea Telecom sells 20% stake in unit to Motorola

SEOUL, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Korea Telecom Co said on Monday it sold a 20 percent stake in
its wholly owned radio communications service unit to Motorola Inc (NYSE:MOT - news) for
13 billion won through a new share issue.

The government-run telecommunications and telephone giant said in a statement Motorola
purchased 2.6 million new common shares issued by Korea Telecom Powertel Co, which
provides trunked radio system services.

It said Korea Telecom and Motorola would also expand cooperation in related business areas.
