Hello Scott and Tom,

Scott, I'm sure the email thing is my fault. I am an absolute idiot when it comes to sending email--I'm always doing something wrong. Maybe I should've taken some internet lessons from those Heavens Gate guys before they hopped on the Hale-Bopp Express. Anyways, I'm glad to hear you got the scoop from Chris.

My best guess why the stock is going up is the potential good news coming out of Michigan. I spoke to a reporter at the South Bend Tribune last week. He is always on top of the Pokagon situation, and he was really upbeat about the chances of getting the compact ratified this session. The caveat is that we thought the same thing this time last year.

I would guess that the 144 could be tax-related--it is that time of the year to hand over our hard-earned dollars to Uncle Sam. That's only a guess though, I don't know why he could be selling. I'm just pleased that the stock has gotten out of its doldrums. I have a client who owns 350,000 shares margined to the brink, and a month ago, when it looked like Michigan was dead and the stock was at 1 3/8, I was about to give him the ceremonial pudding/vodka/phenobarb cocktail. With Michigan back alive and the stock on the rise, who knows, maybe there is a Santa Claus?!

Gary
