BOOK.. its not exactly "old" version that is still available, just that more has been added.. Thanks to a very well documented archives, trading my own account, and following the 'alerts' on SI I am able to add the necessary strategies without talking 'hypothetical and textbook jargon'. I will probably have a completed version ready within a few weeks, but until then I will be using the strategies and explaining them where applicable. There is nothing 'difficult' as I have said numerous times. There is just mostly a more stringent definition of a true 'trend, resistance, volatility, reversals, breakouts, continuations, gaps, etc.'..
These definitions and strategies also take into account high flying sectors like IPO's, internet stocks, and 'popular' technology issues. GAPS strategies, Shorting strategies have been 'modernised' to work on these new volatile but highly profitable stocks.
Since our plays are usually long-time strong uptrends with short term reversals, the same strategies will apply over and over. Filtering them just a bit to get better and stronger signals is mostly what has been added. Another addition will be better follow through and uniform buy signals, chart reading etc.
The strategies that have worked the best in the past 3 1/2 - 4 years have been isolated and backtested, hundreds of charts have been resurrected, and buy triggers gone over. So we will do all the work but it will be well worth it. Its just a matter of weeks when we start implementing all new features and formats little by little. |
