Since then Intel has released the CuMine processor which Compac's own benchmarks published on the SPEC website show it to be the fastest Integer processor ever benchmarked. Faster than the fastest Alpha. Faster than the fastest HP. Faster than the fastest SPARC. And certainly faster than the fastest Athlon. Intel's FP numbers are also faster than Athlons. Perhaps you should get up to date. EP
