General
Fryer's Site Guide is a complete information resource for telecommunications companies searching for tower site locations across the United States and Canada. Four regional directories comprise the national (US) edition with over 120,000 sites nationwide. Listings feature coordinates, tower heights, ground elevations and contact names (wherever possible). New site information is added daily to the electronic database from an unique variety of sources such as FCC filings, direct contact with site management firms, trade show marketing, networking through associations, in-house market research and much more. Electronic data can be purchased in various formats and fields with a same day turnaround if necessary. Our data services department also offers tower registration and signage services per FCC form 854. County and state government offices can purchase customized reports for their area in an effort to stimulate business growth and provide co-location options. Search services and data services are also available for sites where only partial information is given by the FCC.
History
Fryer's Site Guide is entering its 9th year of providing comprehensive site data to the telecommunications industry. As a publisher of commercial real estate directories for McGraw-Hill Information Systems, Jim Fryer saw the need for a similar reference source serving the wireless industry. As advertising, subscriptions, and the database grew exponentially, the Guide added electronic data services and other dimensions of service to the site industry. And there's much more to come as the Guide expands geographically, adds thousands of new sites annually and continues to provide new site information resources.
Fryer's Site Guide market assessments have been recently quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Wired Magazine, Lehman Brothers and assorted industry trade publications.
We welcome your comments and suggestions to make it an even more responsive medium in the future.
