My contention that Joe will adapt is based upon his ability to change some of his philosophies (circa late 80s, 1990) and come up with the 1994 team. People were chanting "Joe must Go" at the time. Many, including myself, felt that the game had passed him by. Similar circumstances. After, during the 1994 season, they started printing
T-shirts that said "Joe Knows Football". Think that was the season they also coined the phrase "Air Paterno".

The best coaches adapt as the game changes, like Don Shula. He got to the Sbowl with 3 totally different teams (Baltimore, Miami 2x) by adapting schemes and philosophies over the years based on changes in the game and personnel. Hopefully Joe is not to stubborn to change some things. We fans are a fickle bunch, especially when the team is not winning the big games!!!!!!!!
