To All: I was going to spend the time to do an Road Kill update Sunday, but instead I found myself fending off a few PM's about how bearish the MDA thread has become. This seems to have become an on going subject for me to deal with.
To those that PM'd me, that is fine and I have no problem with your PM's and I do appreciate the fact it was done privately. However, I want to publicly state my position one more time.
I started MDA so folks could join me in discussing the market's direction. I established guidelines for this thread I thought would promote worthwhile discussion, not just a place for folks to pop in and spout a gut feel in order to seek recognition. The guidelines also were to encourage debate but in a cordial and respectful manner.
I can only give my analysis and promote the cordial and respectful manner in which analysis and debate are presented on this thread. I can not dictate to those that post, the point of view they should have. So I say once again to all that post on the MDA thread, be sure and respect the opinions that are opposite of yours and reply to them in a cordial and respectful manner.
Others have pointed out to me it is a matter of perspective, but I will say once again to those of you that read MDA and feel it is to bearish, the only way that can change is for the bulls to speak up. The bulls need to post their analysis of what the market is going to do in advance of the major market moves and not after the fact. After the fact gloating by bulls or bears is not welcome on this thread. If you have made a correct call in advance on this thread it is noticed, but folks do not usual make a big deal out of praising you for your calls on this thread. It takes several correct calls in a row to really get this audience's attention.
Let the analysis and debate continue and if you see something you do not agree with, join the discussion and support your position with TA and or FA analysis, links to charts, links to news, links to facts and links to analyst's analysis. And remember to always do it in a cordial and respectful manner.
I am growing weary of dealing with this...
