DY was projected to earn $.44/share (diluted). But apparently they made $.48/share. I'll do a summary of the CC later. Remember this is the one that had the WILD stock price gyrations a few months back. All the details are upstream for those interested.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., Nov. 22 -- Dycom Industries, Inc. announced its operating results today for the first quarter ended October 30, 1999.

-The Company reported profit before income taxes for the first quarter ended October 30, 1999 of $20,598,000, an increase of 63% over the comparable quarter of fiscal 1999.

-For the quarter ended October 30, 1999, net income was $12,463,000, or $0.48 per common share diluted, on total contract revenues of $160,904,000 as compared to net income of $7,494,000, or $0.33 per common share diluted, on total contract revenues of $108,613,000 for the corresponding period ended October 31, 1998.

-As reported in the Company's Form 8-K filed on October 7, 1999, the Company has adopted a 52/53 week fiscal year beginning in fiscal 2000. Therefore, the Company's first quarter ended on October 30, 1999.
