Benny and all,

Our country is up and running...

WELLINGTON, Nov 22 (Reuters) - State-owned New Zealand Post
said on Monday it launched the first on-line bill and payment
system for multiple bills from any bank in New Zealand.
Arc ebill (www.arc.net.nz) charges no registration fees or
for the usage of the service.
NZ Post Internet Billing Manager Mary Beth Rousseau said
Bank of New Zealand Credit Cards, Contact Energy and Saturn
Communications were the first billers on the service and more
were expected to come on board.
"Arc ebill delivers what customers want: the convenience of
receiving and paying multiple bills consolidated on one site
rather than many bills spread over many sites," Rousseau said.
NZ Post developed the service with U.S. e-commerce firm
Checkfree Corporation <CKFR.O>, using an Oracle <ORCL.O>
database. Users require Netscape Navigator or Microsoft
Internet Explorer - version 4 or higher.
