picked some DBCC on good news with PHONE.COM (PHCM). DBCC has been beaten down quite a bit in the last several trading sessions - some mms obviously knew about this in advance and were driving the price down to obtain cheap shares. The float is relatively large, but at this price level it's not a real concern.

Business/High-Tech Editors

HAYWARD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 1999--

Data Broadcasting's eSignal and Phone.com's MyPhone Service
Allow Mobile Users Access to Financial Data

Data Broadcasting Corp. (Nasdaq:DBCC), America's leading provider
of real-time financial market data to traders and individual
investors, and Phone.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:PHCM), a leading provider of
software and services for the delivery of Internet-based content to
mass-market wireless phones, today announced that Data Broadcasting
Corp. (DBC) will supply eSignal's(TM) market quotes to the
Phone.com(TM) MyPhone(TM) Service, a platform that enables wireless
network operators to create branded portal sites.
The integration of eSignal's financial information into the
MyPhone platform allows mobile phone users to receive instant
financial market data and market quotes -- all from the screen on
their phone.
MyPhone is a mobile portal platform enabling network operators to
rapidly enter the Internet economy by offering their own branded
portal sites for wireless subscribers. The MyPhone service includes a
robust set of mobility-centric information services and applications
for both PCs and microbrowser-capable wireless phones. MyPhone
provides the carrier with a framework for aggregation, presentation,
personalization, and delivery of Internet-based content and
wireless-network integrated applications.
"The addition of DBC's content to the MyPhone service creates
considerable subscriber value," said Ben Linder, vice president of
marketing for Phone.com. "Stock quotes and financial information are
very popular applications and the ability to access information from
the phone gives individual investors more control over their
investments."
"We're excited to provide eSignal's market-leading quotes to
Phone.com," said Mark Imperiale, president of DBC. "As more and more
individuals take increased control of their investing, it's essential
that they also have access to timely, accurate market data --
anywhere, anytime on any device."
DBC's experience in establishing and managing direct connections
to the exchanges can be seen in the speed and reliability of the
financial information and market quotes it provides to customers. Over
the years, this information has been provided through a number of
technologies from FM and satellite to high-speed Internet. This
experience is expected to make DBC a valuable partner in helping
Phone.com strengthen its service by providing the reliable financial
content it needs to satisfy customers' demands for current information
and complete services.
MyPhone, a service from Phone.com is a complementary offering to
Phone.com's WAP-compatible UP.Link(TM) Server Suite that reinforces
Phone.com's strategy to lead the convergence of mobile telephony and
the Internet. MyPhone is expected to accelerate consumer adoption of
WAP-based services by enabling network operators to rapidly rollout
compelling new information services and applications.
MyPhone is a hosted solution for network operators that
emphasizes the operators' brands to enable them to strengthen customer
loyalty through their own Internet presence. Portals deployed by
network operators under their own brands will be co-branded as
"Powered by Phone.com(TM)".
