There was an advertisement for Oilex in the Barron's
April 14th issue. They talked about closing on the Luling Fields;
and also, they talked about the Geronimo deal. They stated how
they have wells in 13 states and how much oil and gas they are
capable of extracting from these wells and from future wells
they will be able to drill on this land. They also mentioned
the KH-30 compound that they are using from UNRG.
Oilex needs exposure. This is the second advertisement
I have seen for Oilex in the past six months. They need a good
article written up on them in one of the investment papers or
magazines. Hopefully, once the Geronimo deal goes through,
they will put out another news release and make it more
noticeable to the public. Then, when they finish their 1996
year-end audit and move to get on Nasdaq, people might be more
familiar with the company. I was glad to hear about Peter
Lynch's interest in Oilex as was stated on Oilex's web page.
It did not show when the article was written on Lynch, though.
It could be a year old! I guess we'll have to just wait for some
more news.
