IDT promotes Randy Frederick to vice president of logic products
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1997--Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT) (NASDAQ:IDTI), the world's leading supplier of fast CMOS technology (FCT) logic, today announced the promotion of Randy Frederick to vice president of its logic products division.
IDT pioneered the use of CMOS technology to build logic products and under the direction of Frederick, continues to drive the development of the high-performance logic industry. Frederick has helped to develop and expand IDT's logic division during his past three years as product line director and four years as a marketing manager. He is responsible for the definition, development, production and marketing of all IDT logic products.

Frederick brings to the position more than 18 years of semiconductor experience in both engineering and marketing. Prior to joining IDT in 1989, he spent six years at Fairchild Semiconductor in product, design and test engineering for various random access memory (RAM) products. He moved to Inova Microelectronics as a product and test engineering manager, developing wafer-scale and module-scale static RAMs. Frederick then became a marketing manager at Philips Semiconductor for one of its logic product families. Frederick received his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of California at Davis and holds a masters of business administration from San Jose State University. He is married and has two children.
