Media Advisory: Burntsand Inc.
VANCOUVER, Nov. 22 /CNW/ - Burntsand Inc. (TSE:BRT) announces that it and three of its employees were served with a Writ of Summons late on Friday, November 19, 1999 by LGS Group Inc. The Writ of Summons alleges, among other things, a breach of copyright of some software. Prior to service of the writ on Friday, Burntsand had received no oral or written communication from LGS and was unaware of the claim. Burntsand is consulting with its legal advisers and will have additional comment on this matter when it has reviewed the situation further.
