Difference is - SOCT is a Nasdaq listed stock, with published financials. Problem is, SOCT has spent years figuring out WHAT kind of company they are, from the MVSI days until now. They even used to be a computer laser welding company, under the MVSI name...Lotsa changes, hope they've found an identity.
They probably have a more advanced infrastructure, due to their box building capabilities - can they compete with the new ASP market? Maybe, if the management is different than the goofs that used to run this company. MVSI/SOCT has burned a lot of people in the past, myself included. Funny thing is, I think maybe they're just about to get it right, finally.
