Charles,

Re:"stock action"

Yes, its pretty weak (in either direction) right now.

I think Lehmans statements that Cumines would take some Athlon biz away was not helpfull (to AMD at least).

So this week could be a real whipsaw type of week.

I can see trading in $25-28 range until next weeks Athlon 750 release.

I also agree with some of the analysis that $28 will be the resistance for a while.

If we break that then mid thirties could be here sooner than we think.

To do that we probably need Athlon 750 plus GTW plus some more updates from AMD regarding AThlons ramp.

This Athlon 750 launch will be pretty interesting.

If they "only" launch 750 as only 0.18 micron grade this will be VERY bullish on speed grades. This means that 750 is base grade and almost all parts yields this.

This would mean an 800Mhz or even 900Mhz grade as 0.18 ramps in Q1 is pretty sure thing.

If they introduce 650/700/750 Mhz 0.18 grades for example then this would be less bullish on speed grades obviously.

It will an interesting couple of weeks.

regards,

Kash
