TAOTB II will be held at the Hanover Courtyard by Marriott in East Hanover New Jersey on July 11, 12, and 13... I have 30 rooms Singles/Doubles reserved at $59.00 per night with a reservation cut off date of June 20, 1997.
My arrangement with the Hotel is as follows. They will reserve 30 rooms at the rate of $59.00 per night. If more then 30 people call for rooms BEFORE June 20 they will grant the $59.00 rate BUT all rooms over 30 will be on an availability basis only.. Therefore, If you are thinking about attending you had better RESERVE YOUR ROOM NOW!!!
To make reservation please call (800) 205-6517 and tell them you are with Technical Analysis on the Net.
I could not reserve the same rate for Thursday night so those who are coming in early on Thursday must try to negotiate the best rate they can get for that one night. The rest of the stay will be $59.00 per night..
If you come in early Friday morning and your room is not ready we will take care of you until the room is ready. The objective here would be to get in as early as you can so we can start the meetings.
East Hanover New Jersey is about 15 minutes from Newark Airport on Route 10 East. I am now working on the schedules for the events and will post them as soon as they are ready. Richard is working on a second edition of the TAOTB BOOK that will be presented at TAOTB II so start thinking about what articles, systems, indicators or write-ups you would like to contribute.. I will post the full address of the Hotel tomorrow as I do not have it with me right now... I will also look into transportation to and from the Airport for those who do not want to take a taxi..
Now as part of the meeting, we will prepare a book for each attendee. It will be comprised of articles prepared by anyone that wants to present a TA oriented view of a system, indicator or philosophy. Presenters might review putting a copy of their presentation or backup material for their presentation in the book.
Who should submit an article? EVERYONE! Old TA ers or newbie, attendees or those not able to make it. We had 100+ pages in last year's book. This year we should double that. No one should be left out, guys from the good old P* days or those just joining us.
How do you submit it? By attaching your document to a e-mail addressed to me, dick@teclink.net , I will put book together. Formats? I prefer MS word 7.0 but I bet I can put anything together. Just try it, we can work it out.
Tips and hints: 1. insert charts in document. 2. reduce chart to a small but readable size. 3. try to be concise but complete in explanations. 4. try to include new concepts or complete view of an old one. Any questions? Just drop me an e-mail. Spread the word, let everyone know. I am sure that even those that don't normally participate in our SI posts may have an important contribution to make.
BTW: The book is not the only thing you might have going away from NJ. I got a peek at some of the door prizes. Three copies of a 299.00 charting program for starters, must be present to win. So get your reservations and your articles in. |
