FWIW I think Hugh was thinking about the large amount of stock that became free trading last Spring and Summer after 18 month hold periods ended. Those stocks were issue as units mostly at 35 and about 1 million at 50 cents... for a total of slightly over 5 million shares as I recall. I assume Hugh was figuring the tax implications which would mean a break even point for many investors at about 50% of the issuing price.
Perhaps Hugh can offer more details.
