Hi Fun-

Enjoyed your tete-a-tete with Chuzzlewit on the Lucent thread.....watch out for that cat! Good to see some first-rate financial (accounting) analysis for a change..

About six weeks ago, I asked you your opinion about Cisco's stock price (this quarter/during next year)...I believe Cisco has already come close to your mid-summer '00 price objectives...in other words, exceeds your (price) expectations....

What are your new targets? Also, I think many expected some sort of run in the Naz in the months Oct/Nov/Dec....a pullback, and then up again after Y2K....(the scenario you also previously layed out)...but I have to admit, I am (happily) surprised by the strength of the rally the last 3 weeks..including, of course, Cisco.....Do you (still) think we are due for a pullback between now (and end of year)...followed by another leg up in Jan/Feb...

(That would be my guess)....

How 'bout selling some calls (on a long underlying position) after the past 3 weeks (with the intention of buying them back before Y2K?)

Anyway, always appreciate your well-thoughtout posts...
