Ed, what I have noticed over the last month is that certain stocks just keep grinding higher on good volume (momo). Like I have said before I think it is becaiue so much world money is looking at the Canadian exchanges for story stocks. That is what I have been looking for, story stocks. If the stock has upward momo with good volume and a story I believe, I figure others will believe it too(true or not <g>). Stocks like EWD, GIV, IW, USA, SW, UBS, WIZ, CIC, etc, just keep grinding higher (I really had to force myself to buy half of these <g>; and then I ride them where they take me. I am not doing any flips (UBS was the closest), just momo, volume and trends. I havn't even been too worried about bid or asks, pump and dump, manipulation or gyrations - Just trying to concentrate on the trend. How is the mkt addressing this company? Is the mkt going to keep supporting it? What I don't like about falling stocks is that they are falling in the first place (negative investing environment). I decide to sell as events come up, but don't think about it ahead of time. I am not much of a trader, but this has been working well for me. It just seems like there is a new environment - maybe others have noticed what I have noticed. Just some ideas from a koanhead. It is kind of like how the old V mkt worked when people were into mining stocks.
