If found guilty, Cowpland could face up to two years in jail, a fine of up to C$1 million, and/or payment of triple any profits made. I sure hope they put the bum in jail if he losses. This should send a clear signal to all the execs of TSE listed companies a lesson in greed and deception. Now the question is were do I sign for a never done before Canadian class action law suit if he losses. . Now on the brighter side. My good friend just got back from Comdex on Saturday and he told me that Corel Linux looks very good. He liked the ease of installation. In fact he was even planning to purchase some of their products. The funny thing is that 2 years ago I was down their watching the Corel balloon floating up up and away mean while the stock price was dropping like a rock and I was looking all over the place for that mysterious Server that Corel was going to show off but was sent back to Ottawa. Funny how things change so much in two years. Even Sun had a booth at the show this year. They were giving away Star Office. I plan to try it out when he gives it to me. JMHO Mike
