I also think the figures you quoted are way to low, probably the idle speculation of some news flunkie. I'll celebrate if I see 40$ per mo. including ISP service. This will sell like popcorn! <rant on> I'd even buy at the current price if the Telco Morons could deliver me DSL, but they can't. The Cable Morons can't get me a cable modem connection either, so I'm stuck with 56K. Not only that, I've only been able to connect at higher than 40K once, even trying different modems, different ISPs, and different jacks in my house. I'm always getting 36K to 39K. The telco did some sort of quicky cheapo line-cloning crap when they put in the lines to this rapidly-growing area a decade ago. It ensures lousy modem connections and rules out DSL until they get around to upgrading the lines. And since Useless Worst can't even get people new phone lines in a timely manner (a few years ago they were forced by regulators to provide cell phones at no charge to people who had to wait over 30 days) I think hell will freeze over before they'll get around to upgrading existing lines. <rant off>
