If Q wants to dominant the ASIC market, it will have offer a robust and flexible software platform. Q should never be arrogant because it invented CDMA.

Hasn't Dr. IJ and/or other senior management indicated that building up their software capability is a priority for any acquisition? Who are possible candidates? How sizeable a market cap could QCOM afford (without an undo hit to the stock price) as a percentage of their market cap (now around $60 billion)?
