Speaking of the damage done.... The hick VS Obscenity I must state that I have been in several countries where life was cheap and human dignity was even cheaper. I would like to say that my sensiblities were violated in such cases...but usually, I wished for popcorn and a something to drink. But this weekend...on public airways...I witnessed something....actually two somethings - back-to-back - that had me retching so hard that my socks were rolling up and down my ankles like Venetian blinds. . . . Did anyone else witness, the nauseating 'Lawrence Welk' commercials that were publicly aired by Amazon.com? Super clean cut people singing on a drum....with the lyrics at the bottom of the screen? Who did these peoples targeting on the audience? Whoever made the final decision to air those commercials should be eradicated....along with his entire gene pool. JMHFO, but absolutely anyone associated with those commercials should be subjected to public flogging...and it should increase as the degree of complicity rises. Tasteless....totally. I felt violated in a way that I have not felt since I heard Druss sing 'White Christmas' and he closed with "God bless us...everyone". I may not be able to eat for a week.... lee
