Wow - the prospectus is great! They have a profit forecast, reviewed by Coopers that they will make 17 cents HK per share this year and that they will pay out a 6.4 cent dividend. Insiders will own 6% and TOM will own 64% or 168960000 shares. The dividend works out to $2 million CDN for TOMmy or ten cents per share! Even if holding companies trade at a discount, the market respects cash! 54.5% of TOM is controlled by three insiders and the 36.3% of 8003 that they control through TOM will be locked up for two years. I'm glad that the insiders have more of a vested interest in TOM than in 8003. The company structure is interesting with a BVI holding company in between. Presumably, this will reduce their taxes. Except for 64% instead of 70%, the prospectus was way better than I expected and my hopes were high!
