Well, I will give this all some thought, becuase while I am usually a person on moderate reactions, I find myself seriously aggrieved at SI today. Not becuase I disagree with the letter of the law, and their having to abide by it, but with the spirit that sent the complaint. And a lot of the negativity that is around.
While I will put the site on my profile, tonight I will also put it on a thread. If I do it once it is NOT spamming. ANd if Nuni does it tomorrow, it's not spamming.
I am merely aggravated at a mentality that would try to prevent such an innocent gesture. And if it--- again--- is a violation of the letter of the law, and I believe it to be worthwhile, then I will work around the letter of the law.
Heck, the daytraders think I'm drinking coolaid in Jonestown. I certainly am not worried about poor them. We're a mindcontrolled cult led by Elsa Jones trying to feed the hungry? OK.
Yes- I know I sound pissed.
I'm discouraged. I HAVE tried to be a nice person, and fair, and BFD.
I get slammed anyway. I might as well earn the insults.
Besides, the laundry is not done, and the groceries not purchased. |
