Dear Nuni, sorry to hear about your black mood. If it makes you feel any better, my own two brilliant sons have NEVER had a perfect report card. I, nevertheless, maintain my own savoir faire, but with the aid of stronger remedies than chardonnay. I am trying Melinda's suggestion, the Fetzer Merlot, it's pretty damned decent. I still prefer the Gallo of Sonoma, 1997, Merlot, but it's a dollar more.
As for the raking, yikes. It's that time of year, isn't it? The back 1/3 or so of the yard of our new house is basically woods, trying to decide whether to rake back there or not. But we've had wonderful weather for it, haven't we? I assume your weather isn't much different than in the Washington metro area, you're in PA, right? |
