Why Intuit is going down the tubes: total incompetence.

Intuit today sends me a new Quicken 2000 disc -- special edition or something -- and tells me that I must install it before Dec. 1 or I will be unable to download Quicken credit card transactions. Travellers bank, which services the card, is changing "platforms." So I do. I enter the "new" password they have assigned me -- last 4 digits of the social security number. Guess what? They don't work. I call tech support. Now it will be "48 to 72 hours" before they can "reset" the password to what they claimed they had changed it to in the first place. And no, that's not 48 to 72 ACTUAL hours but BUSINESS hours, so I'll be lucky to get re-connected before Monday.

So why didn't they plan ahead and incorporate this in the copy of Quicken200 that I paid good money for? Or the upgrade to v.3 that I just downloaded last week? These nitwits need a CEO worse than they think. A lot of people need to be fired.

Here's an idea. Why doesn't Pete use the money from the convertible offering to BUY INTUIT?
