The whole point is that the technology is an improvement over other GTL processes. What remains to be seen is if it can be commercialized successfully. My bet is that it can and will be. If I'm right, the share price will leave SASOL's standing still.
Also, with few exceptions, I say, "Invest in America".
I wish that Chevron had put Americans to work on their projects. I'm inclined to believe they were influenced both by geographic proximity as well as SASOY's experience in GTL. They have their reasons, but when it comes to buying gasoline, I also have mine.
You say Sasol is making money. I bet they pay their fair share in taxes. And the Rand tends to devaluate a bit. You have to stomach political and racial instability in the region. Good luck.
