Do oil companies normally publicize their E&P budgets for the coming year with a press release? I don't recall seeing anything of that sort last year. One hears estimates ranging from +5 to +20% industrywide. I think that may be the most important news driving this sector thru year-end. Is this information normally distributed officially thru company channels or unofficially thru leaks, guesstimates from "experts", etc? Will we know the ballpark numbers by early December ? Or later?
