Mr. John Tarrant reports
Further to Haddington International's news release in Stockwatch Nov. 15, 1999,
regarding its acquisition of Tanzanian gold projects, the company has released
further information regarding the resource figures for the Tanzanian gold projects.
The estimated inferred resource of 487,000 in situ ounces of gold (5.2 million
tonnes at three grams per tonne Au) on the Kasabuya property has been sourced
from reports completed by JCI (Tanzania) Ltd., which conducted exploration
work on the licence from 1996 to 1998. The estimated inferred resource of
110,000 in situ ounces of gold on the Negoti North property has been sourced
from reports completed by Anglo American Corp., which conducted exploration
work on the licence from 1996 to 1997.
The company has commissioned the firm of Wilkinson and Associates to prepare
an independent report on the projects including the resource calculations. This
report will be filed with the Vancouver Stock Exchange as part of the filing
requirements for the acquisition.
