Runner - He told me he has found that the problem was not as bad as they first thought. He said most of it would have worked any way. I must tell you, we are all worried for naught. Or we are in real trouble. Without question, perhaps the most distinctive consistent aspect of the Y2K "debate" is the polarization of the opinions. There are non-techies who are convinced life will screech to a halt. There are techies who are puzzled at what all the fuss is about. I guess it all depends on where one peers into this black hole. He has had a computer software/program business for as long as I know him. What kind of software? Custom? Packages? PC/mainframe/mini? "Software" covers a lot of ground. - David
