Malcolm and folks, Congratulations on FONR. I know you have been hanging tough on that one for a long time.

I think that I might have another stock worth looking at. STGI. It is coming off of its 52 week low. and it has a deal pending that will make all of the difference in the world.

STGI is a drug company. Their only drug is called ANTICORT. ANTICORT is currently in FDA trial in the US and equivalent trials in Romania and Canada.

The drug is based on the drug Procaine HCl which is/was used by many dentists to numb the mouth. Procaine HCL also has the ability to block the stress hormone Cortisol.

Cortisol's main function in the body is to reduce the immune system (to promote healing) and act as an anti-inflammatory. This is great for an animal that has just been through the stress of a claw fight, but it works against people who face 8+ hours a day of stress as a desk jockey. This constant stress reduces our immune system. You have all probably noticed when you work too hard, that you end up catching colds, etc.

Cortisol has also been found to be a major problem in AIDS. All of the diseases and symptoms associated with AIDS can be duplicated with high levels of Cortisol. Also see the latest press release.

Anyway, I could go on and on about STGI. But the reason that I am posting this is that I believe that some of the down sides to STGI are going to be quickly resolved. STGI is in negotiations with a company called Pashua. Pashua has close ties to the clinical research organization Cato Research. Cato is responsible for the FDA approval of AZT and 79 other drugs. A deal with Pashua would also bring in the money to finish all of the trials. 10 million+ dollars.

If this deal goes through, we could be looking at some serious increases in the stock. The only risk would be the FDA trials. Even that isn't much of a risk since the drug is a derivitive of an existing drug. Their are three other derivitives to Procaine HCL out in the world. ANTICORT is the one that gets rid of the side effects.

Please forgive my pumping attitude. I am quite excited about this stock and only wish to share the wealth. As a lurker to this thread and the STGI thread, I will answer any questions posted here, there or by PM.
