If you had said "Anyone with half a brain would have known E (compassion itself) was being facetious in agreeing with Nihil about the poor not FEELING hunger and cold," then I could agree that THAT is what you should have said. Otherwise, not. But I know you would wish me to be honest with you. And for what it's worth- if anyone remembers the Kennedy THING- I did not make JOKES about it myself, I did not create any. I merely said I have a problem with lionizing ANYONE, and I thought the coverage was overdone. How that got turned into ME being supremely insensitive strikes me as very odd- I wouldn't mind being supremely insensitive- what a RELIEF that would be, but I'm not and that doesn't follow logically from what I said. So there.
