ATI SELECTED FOR LATEST DELL NOTEBOOK PC, THE LATITUDE(TM) CPX H500GT ATI'S
RAGE MOBILITY(TM)-M1 CHIP HAS 8MB OF INTEGRATED MEMORY AND POWER to run
corporate 3D apps at 1024x768 resolution

TORONTO, Nov 23, 1999 /CNW-PRN via COMTEX/ -- ATI Technologies Inc.
(TSE:ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT) announced today that Dell Computer Corporation
has selected the ATI RAGE Mobility(TM)O-M1 mobile graphics accelerator
for the new Dell Latitude(TM) CPx H500GT corporate notebook PC.

The RAGE Mobility-M1 packs 8MB of integrated memory with enough power
to run 3D applications at resolutions of 1024x768 or higher. The RAGE
Mobility-M1 is perfect for corporate presentations, as it includes a
dual-display feature which allows two different images to be output to
two different display devices (eg. LCD & CRT or LCD & TV).

"ATI is very pleased to have been selected by Dell for the CPx H500GT
notebook," said Bill Henry, director of mobile component marketing, ATI
Technologies Inc. "ATI's RAGE Mobility is designed to provide the
latest 2D, 3D and video acceleration technology to corporate mobile
computers."

The ATI RAGE Mobility family: bringing true desktop features and
performance to notebook computing

ATI RAGE Mobility graphics accelerators are designed to deliver
industry- leading 3D, 2D and multimedia performance, and the most
optimal balance of power and performance functionality currently
available in a mobile graphics accelerator, packaged in a highly
integrated, space-saving design.

RAGE Mobility accelerators feature a unique "single component graphics
sub-system solution" that replaces the need for over six individual
chips to provide memory and graphics functions. The single sub-system
design results in important component cost savings, and low power
consumption, twinned with long battery life for notebook computer
systems.

The ATI RAGE Mobility-M1 is pin-compatible with the other members of
the Mobility family, RAGE Mobility-M and P, giving ATI the most
comprehensive family of pin-compatible, low-power, high-performance
mobile graphics accelerators.
