In my 24 years of investing, I've learned not get too
disappointed when events don't have the outcome one antici-
pates. The very good announcement regarding Cyclopss and
Columbia/HCA did not hit the Dow Jones or Reuters news wire,
hence we didn't get an expected lift in the price of OZON.
I do know that Cyclopss sent the release to Dow and Reuters,
but they have discretion on what is printed, and one cannot
"buy" an announcement. Perhaps Columbia will release it, and
it will be printed. Though the announcement didn't hit the
right "radar" screens in Wall St., it is getting to some very
real potential buyers.
I expect many more "for real" announcements and perhaps they
will get noticed. However, please don't underestimate what
yesterday's announcement meant. The potential ramifications
for Cyclopss are quite large. Their laundry technology coupled
with Mr. Jim Gross's experience with large institutions will
be most successful in the immediate future. Obviously we will
watch and monitor the results at The Columbia/HCA facility, but
these tests have been done successfully already at Cyclopss.
This is science and not just a hope and a whim that it works.
Anyway, though I am a bit surprised at the price action today,
I'm very pleased with what the Company is doing and the pro-
gress they are making on several fronts. It gives me the
opportunity to accumulate more.
