trek...on I guess none of you sold after reading the 1Q earnings because I had a hard time picking up shares at 1 1/2 anyway....here is my take on the 1Q results in two words...CMTR is doing "just fine" now some technical stuff they are losing 1.3M a quarter ie loss per quarter which means they will survive another 3-5 quarters depending whether you add the cash and working capital don't panic...CMTR is not going belly up fun has just begun if we take Ed's word that product revenues increased by 37% then I am attributing this figure ONLY to cholestrak as colocare was launched on march 26 so we have 608K in product sales with a 37% growth if we continue at this rate..we have 6081.371.37*1.37 in product sales by end of year...ie 1.56M a 257% increase...something which I believe is easily achievable and can exceed also what else do we have with CMTR 1. colocare has been launched....time to sit back and count the revenues 2. astra-merck has started advertising Prilosec for ulcers check USA today for full page advertisements 3. if SLF has already paid CMTR license fee SLF believes that HIV test is close to approval related issue....advertising expenses increased from average 1.1M a quarter too 1.4M .... the money went towards Cholestrak & Colocare sales...and possibly some to the advertising agency preparing the AWARE kit campaign....they have also stated that they need to set up a counseling center with their HIV kit 4. recent promotion of employees 5. appointment of a professional CFO good work Ed...thats all I have to say if any of you are getting impatient.... go plot an exponential function and observe its behavior or just look at intel from jan 96 for a bigger kick...go watch intel from jan92 money managers will not buy CMTR till market volatality subsides as someone has repeatedly said...CMTR is a nanocap and a speculative investment for most money managers...and too illiquid to get in the biggest bang for your buck will be got when CMTR goes from 1.5 to 4 and not from 4 to 8..when wall street recognises it if CMTR can develop another test or two eg. theophylline its a very good acquisition candidate if it once traded at 17...I would hope for 8 bucks atleast but thats 12-18 months ahead rocketman: is that you dave ? someone might want to suggest to Ed about 1. putting up more stuff about cholestrol control on the web page 2. talking with warner lambert or any of the big players pushing the diet / cholestrol reducing pills trek-on :-))
