Thanks for the informative post.

When each quarter I see the same games being played, and I'm giving counsel about a stock's direction, it is only prudent to warn about a well-known trading phenomenon. Also, their CFO loves to scare the street at earnings time [or any other time they can't buy back shares for a good price]. Forewarned is forearmed, I say.

Also, since I hold substantial Microsoft, I figure this action will act as a potion to ward off the hex of the wicked, unseen analysts' whisper curse. Begone, damned witches!

P.S. My tech investment philosophy is to put the IBM-that-should-have-been back together [with an emphasis on the software - TA DA, TA DA]. ;-)
