limtex, But I can't take my Thin Phone to Europe becuase CDMA isn't allowed there desptite the fact that GSM system there is total crap. Now why has GSM been allowed in the US but CDMA has been very effectively banned in Europe? I don't doubt the benefits of CDMA but my daily experience with GSM1800 in and around London and in the south of England is very different from yours. John
