Same here. Contrary to my earlier thinking, MSFT turned out to be one of my most stable investments--it is now #2 in my portfolio in terms of $$ value, only next to INTC/INTCW.

During last year my H&Q broker vehemently talked me OUT of selling MSFT; to him I am truly grateful and thus happily paying for the "meager" commission. (I actually wanted to sell at $100, 120, 140, 160 before split; he said no no no!!!. This was one of the very few times that I listened to a broker.)
