Joe, as far as the 5 million capacity, that is at present if I recall correctly. They will use that 180+ million for something. Also, they can subcontract out more a la Epson or some other manufacturer. YOu think 1.7 billion is high? JP Morgan's conservative estimate is 1.2 billion; are those stodgy whiteshirts caught up in this "bubble" too. I doubt it. Underwriters estimates are meant to be beat, then upped, just like H&Q's conservative estimates.

As far as the R&D spending. I think they can do it with their present products so R&D is irrelevant. But, as KE stated in the conference call, they plan to up R&D. But, it is people driven and they have to get the right people.

European and Asian sales are just beginning, Q2 zip sales are much better than Q1 according to channel checks.

My advice to shorts is cover before the NYC show, and before the IBM Aptiva announcement (this week) :-)
